Oregon State University aspires to be among the Top 10 Land Grant institutions in America through developing academic excellence in its instructional, research and outreach programs, creation of an outstanding learning environment for its students, and maximizing the impact of its programs on economic and social development of the region and the broader society. The university’s Strategic Plan for the 21st Century defines our vision and values, and the five thematic areas that serve as a focus to developing academic excellence and to prioritize OSU’s academic resources and investments.

This process includes annually establishing implementation strategies in enhancing student success; increasing research and outreach; enhancing community and diversity; increasing resources; and tracking progress on those activities. The Annual Campus Report details strategies and their outcomes.
