Laura Naumes is vice president of Naumes Inc., a family-owned farming operation with orchards in California, Oregon, and Washington. The family, which has been growing fruit in Oregon for 113 years, is a leading producer of pears as well as several varieties of apples, cherries and specialty fruit. Naumes graduated from Oregon State University in 1981 with a B.S. in marketing management. She joined the Oregon State University Foundation Board of Trustees in 2012 and has been a member of OSU’s Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center (SOREC) Endowment Steering Committee since 2006. The Naumeses are members of the College of Agricultural Sciences Campaign Cabinet. In 2009, Naumes Inc. established a Donate Fruit® Cause and has since contributed  more than 16 million pounds of fresh fruit to people in need.

Naumes serves on several industry-related boards and is a former member of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Advisory Council. She also serves on the boards of the Rogue Valley Family YMCA and the Joe & Frances Naumes Family Foundation, which has a special interest in education and also funds the arts, health and human services.
