As a standing member of the Scholars at Risk (SAR) Network, OSU can host scholars who have been displaced by violence and conflict. Applicants seeking temporary (visiting) research or teaching positions in higher education can self-nominate or be nominated.
Applicants seeking support for relocation and placement may be referred to or nominated through the Scholars at Risk application form. OSU will regularly receive a list of eligible applicants from the SAR organization for possible placement in OSU’s academic colleges. SAR also offers a variety of opportunities for faculty, students, professionals and other interested individuals to get involved in SAR’s work.
