Tell us what you do at OSU?

I am an Assistant Professor in the College of Education and Adult and Higher Education program.

How long have you been at OSU?

I am in my 6th year.

What keeps you here?

I love my job! Since coming here, I feel as if every year has offered a new experience, both in my program and across the university.

What is an interesting fact, hobby, or interest?

I really enjoy cooking. I liken myself to a vegetarian chef. I like to cook from scratch, I often think out of the box, and I avoid recipes. I also enjoy working out, at least five days per work. This time is when I am most present in my day and I make sure it is uninterrupted.

What is your favorite spot to eat, or explore in Oregon?

I like to visit the various wineries. It’s a space to be in community while also enjoying beautiful views, and, in some instances, good food.

What is a favorite quote that keeps you inspired, moving forward, as Black Faculty and/or Staff?

It not so much a quote but my faith that keeps me engaged. I do what I believe I have been called to do, and that is what keeps me moving forward.
