Call for proposals
The Black Affairs Summit 2025 will be held in Portland, Oregon on May 22 and May 23, 2025 at the Oregon State University Portland Center. This year, the Summit has expanded to a two-day format and is focused on Black faculty and staff in higher education. The theme for this year is Black Joy: Struggle, Resilience, and Restoration. We welcome presentation proposals that explore this theme.

Key requirements

Presentations will be May 23, 2025.

Presenters must register to attend at least Day 2 of the Summit (May 23). The registration fee will be waived. You may register after your proposal is selected.

Presenters must comply with presentation and accessibility guidelines.
