Anita Azarenko is the Interim Vice Provost for the Division of University Outreach and Engagement and Director of the OSU Extension Service. In her role, Anita directs the OSU Extension Service, providing strategic leadership and oversight of Oregon State University’s nationally regarded extension, outreach and engagement programs, including faculty, staff and offices in every county in the state. Anita is charged with creating opportunities for extension experts to engage with business people, growers, foresters, youth, and community leaders across Oregon and consult with OSU faculty to focus inquiry and teaching on issues important to Oregon communities. Anita has been at Oregon State for over 30 years, and has served in a variety of administrative roles, including Head of the Department of Horticulture in the College of Agricultural Sciences; Associate Dean for the Graduate School; and Special Assistant to the Vice President for Finance and Administration. For the past three years, she has served as Associate Vice President for University Facilities, Infrastructure and Operations. Anita’s Executive Assistant is Jackie Russell.
