Tom DeLuca is the Cheryl Ramberg Ford and Allyn C. Ford Dean of the College of Forestry and Director of the Oregon Forest Research Laboratory. Dr. DeLuca is responsible for the strategic development and execution of innovation, effective, and respected research programs to help achieve the research and teaching mission of the College, Forest Research Laboratory, and the Institute for Working Forest Landscapes. He most recently served as dean of the W.A. Franke College of Forestry and Conservation at the University of Montana and prior to that served as the Director of the School of Environmental and Forest Science at the University of Washington. A forest soil scientist and ecosystem ecologist, Dr. DeLuca’s efforts in research, teaching and administration have been focused on sustainable land management and advancing the understanding of natural ecosystem function. His executive assistant is Jennifer Elston.
