Dear OSU Colleagues,
We are pleased to celebrate International Women’s Day, recognizing extraordinary achievements by women within OSU and globally and highlighting continuing efforts to ensure gender equality throughout higher education, the workplace and society.
We invite you to join us Thursday, March 6 for a reception to celebrate, spark dialogue, and inspire action. The gathering will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m., in the Memorial Union Lounge. In keeping with the United Nation’s 2025 theme, “For all women and girls: Rights, equality, empowerment,” we are delighted to welcome guest speaker and OSU alum, Sue Galatz. For over 30 years, Ms. Galatz’s career focused on bringing new ideas to life – innovating to drive change. In 2018, she retired from Nike with a passion to build capacity in people, teams, and organizations to drive change. Consulting and coaching through Yellow Bike Lab, LLC. and instructing at OSU allow her to continue making a difference.
