Fully engage the community and support students, faculty and staff to further strengthen OSU’s culture of inclusive excellence. The Presidential Profile outlines the qualities being sought for OSU’s next president.
The Board of Trustees invited members of the university and broader community to provide their thoughts about the qualities and characteristics desired in a new president and key challenges a new president may face through listening sessions and an online survey.
The sessions were held via Zoom January 11-22 and were facilitated by Isaacson, Miller and representatives of the Presidential Search Advisory Committee. Those who were unable to attend a listening session were provided the opportunity to share input via an online survey. The survey closed on January 20.
Input gathered from the listening sessions and survey informed the presidential leadership profile which will serve as the basis by which the presidential search advisory committee and executive search firm recruits and identifies potential candidates.
