Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to inform you that Professor Anne-Marie Deitering has accepted an appointment as Interim Donald and Delpha Campbell University Librarian, effective January 1, 2021.

Professor Deitering has served Oregon State since 2003, most recently as Associate University Librarian for Learning Services (since 2016), and previously as Head of the University Library’s Teaching and Engagement Department. She also holds the Franklin A. McEdward Professorship for Undergraduate Learning Initiatives.

Professor Deitering holds a Master of Library Science from Emporia State University and a Master of Arts in History from Syracuse University. Her BA in History is from the University of Pennsylvania.

I am grateful that Professor Deitering has agreed to serve in the interim role. She will work closely with outgoing University Librarian Faye Chadwell and Senior Vice Provost Susan Capalbo to ensure a smooth transition.

Please join me in thanking Professor Deitering for taking on the interim role and, once again, congratulating Faye Chadwell and wishing her well in her new post at Pennsylvania State University.

Sincerely,

Edward Feser
Provost and Executive Vice President
