From: Edward Feser, Provost and Executive Vice President

October 16, 2020

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you to all who participated in our Celebrating Scholarship events last week.

Video recordings of the lectures by 2020 Distinguished Professors David E. Williams and Yuji Hiratsuka are available on the Office of the Provost website. Also posted are recordings of the three Authors and Editors seminars that featured lively conversation around 12 books recently authored by OSU faculty members. I am grateful to the Center for the Humanities for hosting the Authors and Editors events and to Professor Chris Nichols for his excellent role as moderator of the panel discussions.

Our week of Celebrating Scholarship also was an opportunity to acknowledge new faculty with named positions and show our appreciation for the generosity of the donors who support them. I also thank the OSU Foundation for all it does to cultivate support for scholarly excellence at OSU.
