Integrate inclusive excellence principles and practices into all aspects of the university

 

Implemented OSU’s first major Diversity Strategic Plan, “Innovate & Integrate,” containing 52 actions.

Created programs to build capacity in DEI education to reach every student and employee, including a comprehensive seminar (“Leading Change for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion”) to expand the capacity of OSU leaders to advance equitable organizational change.

Developed a diversity strategic planning framework to guide DEI planning efforts related to in units across the university, and launched the Inclusive Excellence Inventory to foster progress.

Created an annual State of Diversity event celebrating and highlighting the innovative and creative efforts of OSU community members advancing impactful diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in divisions, colleges, and departments and in locations across the state.
