Retool our approach to university-industry and alumni, parent and friend engagement

 

Achieved the Carnegie Community Engagement classification designation of “high engagement university,” acknowledging the strength of our commitment to community engagement and engaged scholarship statewide – alongside OSU’s longstanding classification as a “very high research activity” doctoral university (or “R1”) institution.

Designed a structure for alumni and constituent engagement, enabling a triple-digit percentage increase in activities supporting diversity and inclusion and double-digit percentage increases in activities supporting student success and university advocacy.

Created an engagement plan with the University’s top 25 industry partners and activities to enhance relationships with private foundations.   

Developed recommendations for data governance and an industry partners recording system to further support engagement with external organizations and entities.
