Retool the OSU experience for the 21st century learner

 

Upgraded every classroom to be Zoom-ready.

Led a state-wide effort on common course numbering to improve transfer student pathways and experience.

Developed a new enrollment policy to grant in-state tuition rates to students who are enrolled members of the 574 Federally Recognized Indian Tribes.

Established President’s commissions to support Black and Indigenous students, faculty, and staff, adding to the 50-year-old Commission on Women.

Expanded childcare programming, including the development of a new childcare care center, to support for students, faculty, and staff with children.  

Revised admission processes in the colleges of Business and Engineering to permit first-year students access to particular majors, allowing earlier exposure to fundamental courses and more flexibility in choosing career paths.
