Strategic Plan Steering Committee
Led by the Provost, a steering committee will be charged to provide the following:
- Ensure institutional management supports advancing strategic plan goals.
- Help coordinate strategic plan investments and initiatives across university enterprise.
- Develop and monitor the financial strategy for the plan and its integration into the university’s ten-year business forecast.
- Advise on the appropriate timing and allocation of financial resources.
- Define institution-level metrics and targets used to determine investment checkpoints, including meeting efficiency goals.
- Monitor progress against metrics and targets and develop operational accountability measures for meeting metrics and targets.
- Monitor integration of the Diversity Action Plan into strategic plan actions and tactics.
- Provide support, guidance, expertise, tools, systems and structure to units charged with delivering on specific outcomes.
- Diagnose and reduce institutional/system barriers to advancing strategic plan actions.
- Ensure coordinated messaging, communications around the strategic plan at various levels of the institution.
