Beaver Hub Student Portal

May 9, 2023

Good morning,

Since January, representatives from across the university have participated in a deliberate and intensive project supporting a unified student experience though implementation of the Beaver Hub Student Portal. Over 100 individuals have dedicated substantial time and effort to this implementation effort, all in service of making the OSU student experience more meaningful and streamlined.

Beaver Hub will launch in late June. Current students will use Beaver Hub in place of my.oregonstate.edu for a range of academic services including access to campus resources, appointment scheduling, and easy access to grades, tasks, and reminders. Student services staff and advisors will begin using the tool for student communications, appointment scheduling, and case management. To achieve our intended outcomes, it’s critical that everyone commit to using Beaver Hub and working together over time to strengthen utility of the tool as greater functionality is added.

The implementation team has identified Change Champions to assist departments and peers in the rollout of Beaver Hub. These Change Champions will work together to establish best practices and ensure there are open lines of communication among all stakeholder groups. Immediately after go-live, Change Champions will work with teammates and offices to answer questions about Beaver Hub. You can expect communications about Beaver Hub to come from your Change Champion Network regularly.

I appreciate that changing the way you work can be time consuming at first, and the team has support in place to make your adjustment to Beaver Hub as easy as possible. I’m pleased we’re launching this new tool; it will make students’ digital connection to the university more comprehensive and cohesive. Please watch for communications later in May and June regarding the launch. You can reach out to the Change Champions and Core Team with questions or for support.

Thank you for your continued commitment to OSU students.

Sincerely,

Edward Feser
Provost and Executive Vice President
