- management/maintenance of the Provost's schedule
- liaison between the Provost and other administrators, staff, the OSU Board of Trustees, etc.
- coordination of special awards and events for the Provost
- Provost's Literary Prize
- Provost's Purchase Award
- Authors, editors & patent recipients recognition
- Distinguished Professor award
- specific aspects of Commencement (honorary doctorate, distinguished service award, Commencement "script" for OSU President)
- meeting management for the Enrollment and Academic Planning Committee and for the Compliance Executive Committee
