The annual Authors and Editors Recognition celebrates the literary and scholarly books published by OSU faculty. The recognition event is sponsored by the Office of the Provost.

2026 Authors & Editors Recognition

Each year OSU Faculty publish a remarkable range of literary contributions. Publication of these books is an important dimension to faculty creativity that goes through a rigorous peer review process and is an important part of validating their work. To celebrate these achievements, all OSU authors and editors will be honored and acknowledged at a reception on March 4, 2026.

All submissions were due by January 30, 2026.

Guidelines:

  • Faculty members who are principle author or co-author (chapter authors do not qualify) 
  • Faculty members who are editors of collections/volumes of original scholarship
  • Pamphlets, brochures, limited distribution research monographs, workbooks, or manuals do not qualify
  • All submissions must have a 2025 copyright date
