The best way to contact the OSU Board of Trustees is to send an email to this address: [email protected].
Emails can also be sent to trustees at their individual email addresses, which are linked from their bios. As a matter of best practice and consistent with principles of transparency and access, all trustees receive copies of all correspondence received at these addresses (except spam email).
Invitations: Many groups welcome trustees to attend and participate in events and meetings. All invitations to trustees should be sent to [email protected]. The board office will facilitate the distribution of and response to invitations.
Public Comment at Board Meetings: You can also sign up to speak at regular Friday meetings of the full OSU board. See the board's meeting page for upcoming dates and instructions on providing public comment.

Under the OSU Board of Trustees Bylaws, the OSU board functions as a committee of the whole and the board chair speaks for the board, not individual trustees. As such, the board chair is responsible for guiding responses on behalf of the board.

Jackie Bangs

Jackie Bangs was appointed Secretary of the Board in January 2022. She brings sixteen years of service at Oregon State University, most recently as the University’s Public Records Officer in University Relations and Marketing. Previously, she held a number of roles in OSU’s Office of International Services, including as the Assistant Director for International Faculty and Scholar Services and as an Immigration Specialist. Bangs earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Washington University and Master of Arts from the University of Oregon.

Jen assists the president and provides oversight and management for a diverse range of activities and initiatives, works with senior university administrators and other colleagues across the university to make effective and strategic use of the president’s time, organizes and supports committees led by the president, and serves as a liaison for the president with internal departments and external entities and constituents. In addition to Office of the President staff, the University Ombuds Office reports through the Chief of Staff.

Stacy Jeffries joined the board office in June 2022. Her previous experience includes roles at the Portland Housing Bureau, OSU's Office of International Services and the University of Illinois at Chicago's School of Literatures, Cultural Studies and Linguistics. Stacy holds a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. from Middlebury College and a Ph.D. from The University of Illinois at Chicago.
