MJ is an undergraduate student in the College of Science pursuing a degree in biology with an option in pre-veterinary medicine and a minor in chemistry.
MJ is currently in their third year at Oregon State University. Currently, they serve as the volunteer coordinator for both the Pre-Veterinary Medical Association and the Mid Willamette Trans Support Network. They enjoy a range of community care from both clinical practice to advocating for LGBTQIA2S+ rights.
Post graduation, MJ plans on attending veterinary school to specialize in mixed animal practice. After veterinary school, they plan to take up residency to become a surgeon. They hope to move abroad to finally become a veterinarian. If there are restrictions to practicing surgery, their next passion is wildlife medicine. MJ is passionate about protecting the climate, restoring native habitats, and ensuring the welfare of wildlife.
They are excited to represent the undergraduate student interests on the OSU Board of Trustees, and they hope to keep meeting people who are just as excited as they are.
